Starfish Ventures is a growing "not for profit" volunteer organization and gap year organization that provides volunteer work and volunteer travel in the areas of health, childcare, wildlife conservation, community development and teaching. We provide safe, fun and flexible volunteer work that directly benefits the projects we assist.

Starfish Ventures specialises in supporting development projects in Thailand through the placement of foreign volunteers, delivering financial aid and providing expertise and project management.

Starfish Ventures has a genuine long term commitment to each of our projects, not only providing volunteers but also financial support to achieve particular goals. Starfish works in partnership with the Thai organisat ions it supports to continually understand and prioritise their requirements, providing knowledge, volunteers and financial help in tandem to ensure palpable, lasting change. Having had extensive experience of being a volunteer teacher himself, Starfish Ventures director Dan Moore has firsthand knowledge of the excitement and rewards of working in Thailand. During his travels around the country, Dan became aware of a large amount of worthwhile projects in Thailand that would benefit from the support of a volunteer network that provided not only manpower but financial assistance. Dan set up Starfish Ventures in order to create a company that would provide a long term commitment to projects in Thailand that went beyond simply placing volunteers.
