Our volunteer projects offer a mix of 3 one month projects based around rural communities on Wasini Island and Kasigau, as well as the Soysambu Conservancy, three weeks of independent travel, and a safari in Kenya. As part of a group of volunteers, you will live and work within rural communities, experiencing real cultural immersion. As part of the programme you will start with an orientation course covering health & safety, a swahili language course and history of the region to get you ready for your project of building toilet blocks, water tanks, painting classrooms, monitoring wildlife, building animal hides and sports with local children too. There will be 24 hour in-country support from our local representatives for the duration of your time with AV.
